There is an increase in demand for spare parts for agricultural machinery in the country
Russian agricultural producers are more inclined to invest in the repair and maintenance of previously purchased equipment than to buy a completely new or used one, this is evidenced by the result of the analysis made jointly by the AA-P (www.aa-p.ru) portal and Avito.ru. There is a certain desire to increase the service life of equipment: farmers have become more attentive to it, respectively, the need for spare parts and high-quality service is increasing. According to the Avito website, in 2024, the demand for components rose 6.5 times compared to the previous year, in turn, the supply increased by one hundred percent. The top three cities with the largest increase in demand for agricultural parts included settlements from regions with the most dynamic agricultural sector.
Based on the information collected from the Pole.ru portal, there is a 6.5-fold increase in the interest of agricultural producers in spare parts for agricultural machinery in 2024. Farmers today prefer an efficient and, more importantly, simple method of buying parts online. In this way, it is immediately clear who the supplier of the parts is, and comprehensive assistance is guaranteed, from the selection of the product to the dispatch of the purchase. In addition, the leasing of agricultural machinery is relevant, the demand for it is increasing by an order of magnitude from year to year, especially taking into account state support.
According to analytics received from Avito.Ru, at the start of 2025, more than 140000 applications for the sale of components for agricultural machinery in Russia were submitted on this site. Of this selection, about 115 thousand ads concerned the sale of new parts. Especially popular commodity items in Russia during 2024 were bodies, attachments, booths, platforms, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. The head of the profile section "Spare Parts" on the Avito.ru website reports that against the background of the course for import substitution, the agricultural industry is showing rapid growth and feels the growing need for machinery, equipment, specialists and components.
Earlier analyses highlighted the decline in tractor production in the Russian Federation this year. Based on the data of the Ministry of Agriculture, during 2024, domestic agricultural producers lowered the level of orders for key types of agricultural machinery. It is believed that this trend will remain relevant in the current year, 2025.
