The Arena in Last Epoch is a challenging endgame mode designed to test players' combat skills by facing waves of increasingly difficult enemies. It offers two main types: the Endless Arena and the Arena of Champions, each with distinct gameplay and rewards Last Epoch Gold.

Arena Gameplay Mechanics
Players enter a small, dungeon-like instance where enemies spawn from four or more portals scattered around the map. However, every fifth wave pauses the action, spawning barrels containing loot, as well as a Wandering Blacksmith and a Stash NPC, allowing players to manage inventory and restock before continuing. Players must manually start the next wave, and any unopened barrels disappear once the wave begins.

Every ten waves, players get to choose modifiers that increase enemy health and damage but also improve the quality and quantity of loot dropped by the final boss or enemies. These modifiers add strategic depth, as players balance risk and reward while pushing through the waves.

Arena Types
1. Endless Arena:  
  This mode features an infinite number of waves where enemies continuously scale in health, damage, and speed. The goal is to survive as long as possible, with progress tracked on a leaderboard, encouraging competition among players. After every 10 waves, the arena map changes, introducing new layouts and enemy spawn points. The Endless Arena is a pure test of endurance and skill, ending only when the player dies or chooses to quit.

2. Arena of Champions:  
  This mode has a fixed 40 waves with a boss fight at the end. Players select modifiers at waves 10, 20, and 30, which affect enemy stats and loot drops. Defeating the Arena Champion boss rewards valuable loot and unlocks higher difficulty tiers. Strategic Elements
Positioning is crucial since enemies spawn from multiple portals and aggro immediately, forcing players to manage threats from all directions.
